These realistic ceramic lemons are handmade in Spain by local ceramicist Armando, who makes these great reproductions with Portuguese white clay and then paints them with colourful glaze. He grows his own vegetables and makes casts of them-he really has an eye for colour and glazing which results in very realistic pieces.
Each lemon is made individually and differences in shape, size and colour may occur-these are happy accidents and result in a more diverse collection! Each lemon is hollow with a hole on one side for stability when placed on a flat surface and also means they can be hung on a wall for decoration.
